The short version: We don't sell your information. We don't save chat conversations. Every AI guide tells visitors up front that it's AI. If a visitor shares their email with a guide, that email goes to the creator who owns the page. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing hello@chatifyit.com.
1. Who we are and who this covers
ChatifyIT is operated by Leveraging AI, LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("ChatifyIT," "we," "us," or "our"). ChatifyIT is a link-in-bio platform at chatifyit.com (the "Service") where creators build a page to sell products, share links and recommendations, add a booking link, and run AI guides that chat with visitors.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it for:
- Creators: people who create a ChatifyIT account and page.
- Visitors: people who visit a creator's ChatifyIT page, chat with an AI guide, or buy from a creator's shop.
- Affiliates: people who join the ChatifyIT affiliate program.
- Website visitors: anyone who visits chatifyit.com.
2. Information we collect from creators
- Account details: your email address, name, and password. Passwords are stored in encrypted (hashed) form by our authentication provider; we can't see them.
- Page content: your username, photo, bio, brand color, links, recommendations, products, booking link, and anything you add to your page.
- Guide content: the instructions, notes, and files (such as a PDF) you give us to build your AI guides.
- Billing details: your plan, billing history, and subscription status. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Connected services: if you connect other tools, such as an email marketing service (for example, Systeme.io), your own Stripe account for your shop, or social media accounts for posting, we store what's needed to keep that connection working, such as an API key or account ID.
- Instagram (only if you connect it): with your permission, ChatifyIT connects to your Instagram professional account through Meta's Instagram API. We use your Instagram username and account ID (to show it's connected); your posts and reels (to list your videos and, when you ask, transcribe one to help write drafts); and comments on your posts, replies to your stories, and messages sent to your account, only to check whether they contain one of the "Instagram words" you set. When one does, we send that person one direct message with your link and post a short reply under their comment. We keep your Instagram access token, the transcripts you ask for, and, for each word match, the person's Instagram username and ID, the word, and whether the message was sent. We don't keep the text of comments or messages, we don't keep message conversations, we don't sell this data, and we don't use it for advertising. You can disconnect anytime in Connected Tools, which deletes your access token.
- Agreement record: when you created your account, and which versions of our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy you agreed to.
- Messages with us: emails and support requests you send us.
- Usage information: basic technical information such as IP address, browser, device, and pages visited, collected automatically when you use the Service.
3. Information we collect from visitors
3.1 Chatting with an AI guide
- Your messages: when you chat with a guide, your messages are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic or OpenAI) to write the guide's replies. ChatifyIT does not save the conversation after the chat ends. Our AI providers process messages under their business terms, which don't allow them to use this data to train their models, and they may keep it for a limited time for safety and abuse monitoring.
- Web search: if the creator has turned on web search for a guide, the guide may search the web to answer your question. The search is carried out by our AI provider, based on your conversation.
- Voice typing: the microphone button uses your own browser's speech-to-text. Your browser's maker (for example, Google for Chrome or Apple for Safari) handles the audio under its own privacy terms. ChatifyIT only receives the text.
- Your email address: if you choose to share your email with a guide, we save your email address, which guide you shared it with, when, and the exact words you were shown about getting emails from that creator, so the creator can show you agreed. We share it with the creator who owns that guide.
3.2 What the creator does with your email
When you share your email, the guide tells you that the creator will send you emails. The creator, not ChatifyIT, sends those emails, usually from their own email tool, such as Systeme.io or Go High Level. The creator can see and export the emails their guides collect, decides how to use your email, and their own privacy practices apply.
To stop getting a creator's emails, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email from them, or contact them directly. ChatifyIT doesn't send these emails, so the creator's email tool handles unsubscribing. If you share your email with one of their guides again later, that counts as signing up again.
3.3 Using a creator's word on Instagram
If you comment one of a creator's "Instagram words" on their post, reply to their story with it, or send it to them in a message, ChatifyIT (acting for that creator) sends you one direct message with a link and may post a short reply under your comment. To do this we process your Instagram username and Instagram ID and record which word you used and whether the message was sent. We don't keep the text of your comment or message. If you open the link and share your email, it's handled as described in 3.1 and 3.2. To stop, simply don't reply; you can also ask the creator or us to delete this record.
3.4 Buying from a creator's shop
Purchases are processed by Stripe on the creator's own Stripe account. The creator is the seller. We don't receive your card details. We receive basic order information, such as whether the payment went through, so we can show you your purchase.
4. AI guides and transparency
- Every AI guide identifies itself as an AI guide at the start of the chat and notes that it can make mistakes, so you always know you're talking to AI and not a person.
- Guide replies are generated by AI and can be inaccurate or incomplete. They are not professional advice.
- We don't use guide conversations to train AI models.
- We don't use AI to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
5. Information about affiliates
Our affiliate program is run with Rewardful. If you join as an affiliate, Rewardful collects your name, email, and payout details (such as your PayPal email) to track referrals and pay commissions. If you arrive at ChatifyIT through an affiliate's link, Rewardful records that visit, and the affiliate can see that a referral happened and which plan it was for. Affiliates don't see your email address.
6. How we use information
- Provide, run, and improve the Service, including building and running AI guides
- Process subscriptions, trials, and payments
- Send account emails, such as sign-in links, receipts, and trial reminders
- Send updates and tips about ChatifyIT (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- Run our referral and affiliate programs
- Measure and improve our advertising
- Keep the Service secure and prevent fraud and abuse
- Follow the law
If you're in the EU, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on these legal bases: performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests (such as keeping the Service secure and improving it), your consent (such as for marketing emails), and legal obligations.
7. How we share information
We don't sell personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run the Service, such as hosting, database, AI, payments, and email. See our full list at chatifyit.com/subprocessors.
- With creators: visitor emails shared with a creator's guide go to that creator.
- With affiliates: as described in section 5.
- With AI assistants you choose to connect: if you connect ChatifyIT to Claude (Anthropic) or ChatGPT (OpenAI), the assistant can read your page name, tagline, bio, brand colors, page link, the website you saved, and your saved posts and drafts; the videos you uploaded to ChatifyIT and their transcripts; and, if you connected Instagram, your Instagram videos' captions and transcripts and your Instagram words. It can save new drafts and Instagram words, and add videos or images (including files you send from the chat) to your Emails & Posts page. It can't see your leads, your visitors' emails, payments, or password, and it can't post, send, or delete anything. What you write in Claude or ChatGPT is handled under your own agreement with Anthropic or OpenAI. You can disconnect anytime in that app. Details: chatifyit.com/support. Systeme.io, Go High Level, and LinkedIn receive only what's needed for the features you turn on.
- For advertising measurement: only if you allow Advertising on our cookie banner, we use the Meta Pixel (see section 8). Under some U.S. state laws this may count as "sharing" for advertising. If you reject it, ignore the banner, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, it never loads. You can change your choice anytime with "Cookie settings".
- For legal reasons: if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- In a business transfer: if ChatifyIT is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
When you first visit chatifyit.com's own pages (such as our homepage and signup page), a banner lets you Accept all, Reject all, or Manage your choice by type. Nothing optional loads until you allow its type. If you reject or ignore the banner, it stays off. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as Reject all. We save your choice for 12 months. If we add a new tool, we ask you again before it loads.
Creators' ChatifyIT pages and AI guide chats don't use any optional cookies or tracking, so no banner appears there.
Needed for the site to work (always on):
- Sign-in: keeps you logged in to your account.
- Your cookie choice: remembers what you chose, so we don't ask again on every page.
- Referral and offer memory: remembers a referral code or special offer from a link you clicked (for up to 60 days), so it applies when you sign up.
- Affiliate credit (Rewardful): only if you came to chatifyit.com through an affiliate's link, remembers which link it was, for up to 60 days, so the person who referred you gets credit if you sign up. It isn't used for ads and doesn't load for anyone else.
Advertising (only if you allow it):
- Meta Pixel: on chatifyit.com's own pages, lets ChatifyIT see which of its ads bring people here. It is not used on creators' pages or in AI guide chats.
Fonts: we host our fonts on chatifyit.com ourselves, so loading a page doesn't send your IP address to Google or any other font service.
Analytics: we don't use any analytics tools right now. If we add one, it will be listed here and will only load if you allow it.
Proof of your choice: each time you choose, we record a random ID (kept in your cookie-choice cookie), what you chose, the date and time, which version of the banner you saw, and the page you were on. We don't record your IP address, name, or email with it. We keep these records for 3 years to show we asked before using cookies, then delete them.
Changing your mind: click "Cookie settings" at the bottom of our pages, or open your cookie settings here. If you turn something off, it stops and we remove its cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking sign-in cookies will stop you from staying logged in.
9. How long we keep information
- Account and page data: kept while your account is open. We delete it when you ask us to.
- Visitor emails: kept in the creator's lead list until the creator's account data is deleted, or until you or the creator ask us to delete it. The record of what you agreed to is kept with it.
- Chat conversations: not saved by ChatifyIT.
- Instagram: your access token is deleted when you disconnect Instagram. Records of Instagram word matches (username, ID, word, whether the message was sent) are kept while the creator's account is open, or until you or the creator ask us to delete them.
- Billing records: kept as long as tax and accounting laws require.
To delete your data, email hello@chatifyit.com from the email address on your account. We'll confirm when it's done. Deleted data may stay in encrypted backups for a limited time before it's overwritten.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have about you and get a copy
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information
- Object to or limit certain uses, including advertising
- Withdraw consent you've given
- Not be treated differently for using these rights
- Complain to your local data protection authority (EU, UK, and Switzerland)
To use any of these rights, email hello@chatifyit.com. If your request is about an email you gave a creator's guide, we'll help, and you can also contact the creator directly, since they decide how your email is used. To stop a creator's emails, see section 3.2.
11. International users
ChatifyIT is based in the United States, and your information is processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses offered by our providers. For creators who need one, our Data Processing Addendum is at chatifyit.com/dpa.
12. Security
We protect information with encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted storage at our database provider, hashed passwords, and access controls. Card payments are handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell affected users about a data breach as the law requires.
13. Children
You must be 18 or older to create a ChatifyIT account. AI guides are not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has shared personal information with us, email hello@chatifyit.com and we'll delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as ChatifyIT changes. We'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll also email account holders.
